Su is based in the RSPB Inverness office, having joined the RSPB in January of this year to set up the Volunteer and Farmer Alliance project. This involves offering free bird surveys to farmers and crofters throughout the Highlands and the Western Isles, then finding and training volunteers to do the surveys. Previously she worked as a farmland ecologist and a countryside ranger, among other things, so very much enjoys doing some of the surveys herself!
