Speaker: Ian Cox, BSc, MSc, CEng, FIStructE, MICE, MIHT, FCIM - Director of Construction Solutions, Aggregate Industries

 

 

Ian Cox is a Chartered Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer and Highway Engineer and has a wide experience of the UK construction industry, having worked for both   contractors and consulting engineers, in one of which he became a partner/director.   He is a former member of both the Board and the Council of the Institution of Structural Engineers in the UK.

 

Ian spent many years working in both the steel and concrete supply industries and in March 2002, he set up the central market development organisation for concrete in the UK – The Concrete Centre – which he ran as Chief Executive.  When The Concrete Centre was merged into the Mineral Products Association in March 2009, Ian left to join Aggregate Industries where he is now Director of Construction Solutions.
