PLOT 11

Welcome to Sust.House

This exhibition showcases the work of Sust. - the Scottish Government’s Sustainability in Architecture Programme, which is part of Architecture and Design Scotland.

Sust. explores the barriers and opportunities to delivering sustainable design. It acts as a catalyst for mainstreaming ‘green’ thinking in the built environment by providing support to live projects in partnership with a wide range of organisations, including communities, construction professionals, academic institutions, young people and client groups.

In this way, Sust. raises public awareness of sustainable design and the contribution it can make in delivering a sustainable future and improve an understanding of sustainable design for those commissioning new buildings.
